Gender Marginalisation and Development

We have the expertise  in gender-specific missions consultancies, and training and in  addressing marginalisation and poverty reduction, as well as , marginalization of women, youth and children.  We have conducted studies, built gender strategies and M&E systems. Including facilitating the development of the Gender Strategy in the Environment Sector, and developing its M&E systems and plans. Our lead consultant was engaged in building the M&E system for the national cross-sectoral gender strategy and integrating the global gender indicators.

We have conducted researches and assessment on gender within different sectors, some are published.

We have conducted training needs assessments for income generating opportunities for marginalized women. We have conducted several studies and produced various papers to increase access of women to VET, as well as to increase the efficacy of the training provided.

Our consultants have also designed, developed and supervised training for the Start-Up Women Program in Jerusalem. The training course covered Finance, Marketing and Management exercises. We have conducted numerous studies on gender in the region, including Accountability for Gender in Humanitarian Action-Jordan Case Study for CARE International in Jordan. 

We also  facilitate. consultation workshops such as the 'Palestine Country consultation', documenting the outcome strategy on the implementation of UNSC Resolution 1325 regarding the protection and participation of women in peace and security efforts.  

The gender element is evident in the vast majority of our work, including projects and studies in areas of microfinance, TVET, and the environment. 

The team leader has produced many papers and researches on gender, her Ph.D. research has also focused on gender and used gender theories to analyse inequality,  her research was titled: The Value of VET in advancing human development and reducing inequality: The case of Palestine
